Children's Recipes

Butterfly Sandwiches

Two slices of bread
Favorite filling (Tuna is perfect)
celery stick
Carrot "pennies"
Sliced olive

This is so much easier to do than to explain so have your kids teach their friends!

Make sandwich. Cut in half diagonally. Cut each half in half again. Now you have 4 triangles.

Put pieces on a plate with points touching - you've got the wings. Put a short piece of the celery stick along the middle to make the body. Decorate the wings with olive slices on front triangles and carrot pennies on back triangles
